Judges Riley Pashulka and Scott Jensen selected SVY MISS Jewel 555N by BOY Outlier 812 ET Pld, exhibited by Jackson Corner as their Supreme Champion Female at the September 5th Paris, ON Fair.

Bogart Cattle Co & Vanessa Boutilier won Supreme Champion Female at the September 20th Madoc (ON) Fair with BOY HL Navy 590N. Adam Black judged the show.

Carolyn was born September 17, 1943, in Drumheller, AB and passed away September 15, 2026, in Strathmore, AB surrounded by family just shy of her 83rd birthday.
Carolyn was raised on her family’s farm near Carbon, AB where she grew up and spent her childhood and adolescent years. After graduating from school in Carbon, she went on to Olds College where she studied Home Economics. Following college, Carolyn moved to Calgary where she met her very dear friend, Edith Penner who, along with Bob, would later introduce her to Lloyd on a blind date in the field!
Lloyd and Carolyn were married October 26, 1963, and started their farming life and family near Swalwell. Together, they raised their 3 children; Laurie, Darren and Lisa and in 2014 sold the farm and moved to Strathmore. They successfully operated Bar Nineteen Charolais for many years. Carolyn was a true homemaker and farm wife. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandma that supported all the kids’ activities from watching them in 4-H, playing baseball, hockey and volleyball. A private family service will be held at the Swalwell cemetery.
