Robert (Bob) Jackson passed away peacefully holding hands with his loving wife June at his side, at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound (ON) on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Bob born October 31, 1938, in Glenelg on the home farm of Robert & Velma Jackson.  Bob & his wife June ran their purebred Charolais herd near Markdale, ON. Bob served as a director on the CCA board from 1985-1988 and was the OCA President in 1986 & 1987.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed. Spring interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery.
