Charcross Dominate Canadian Western Agribition Commercial Show
Bar Crossroads Ranch of Edam did it again winning the Feeder Steer division at Canadian Western Agribition in Regina, SK on November 23, 2007 for the 7th straight year. His Charolais x Hereford/Simmental pen of 10 beat 30 other pens weighing an average of 942 lbs. and sold for $0.951/2/lb. Bar Crossroads Ranch also won the Grand Champion Pen of Feeder Heifers with their pen of 10 of Charolais x Hereford/Simmental which weighed an average of 863 lbs.
A pen of 5 Charolais x Hereford heifers from Garon Pretty, Weyburn beat out 23 pens to win the Open Replacement Heifer Division as well. These buckskin heifers averaged 685 lbs.
Charolais Win Supreme at Bull Pen Alley Show
Creeks Edge Land & Cattle Co., Yellow Grass won the Supreme Pen of Three bulls competing against 25 pens from 5 breeds. The show was held November 23rd in conjunction with the commercial cattle show at Canadian Western Agribition, Regina, SK. Their Red Factor bulls were sired by SVS Nobleman 25N and had been sold privately out of the stall the day before to Diamond Bar K Ranch, Maple Creek.
