Judge Craig Wilgenbusch, Halbrite, SK then selected CRG Princess 53H, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld with her TR Mr Diablo 2742Z ET bull calf at side from Oattes Charolais, Cobden.
Champion Bull was Cornerview Memphis 34M sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld from Cornerview Charolais, Cobden. Cornerview also show the Reserve Grand Champion Bull Cornerview Milwaukee 30M sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld.
Long time Manitoba breeder passes
Patricia (Pat) Steppler passed away Sept. 18, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 71. She and Dan, her husband of 51 years started Steppler Farms, farming and raising Charolais cattle. With a teaching degree she taught for many years retiring in 2009 so she could focus more on her family and farm. A gracious lady, she always had a smile, time for a visit and an extra plate at her table. She is survived by her four sons, their wives and 12 grandchildren. A private interment will be held on Monday, September 23rd at the Miami Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life with close family friends at 2 pm at the Miami Event Centre.
Anna Nesbitt, Nestleton, ON had Grand Champion heifer over all breeds at the 80 head East Central 4-H Championship, September 18th in Lindsay with Cedardale Lainey 53L by WC Uncharted 7328 P.
Brett Nesbitt showed the Reserve Champion heifer over all breeds with Cedardale Lainey 41L by Cedardale Jaguar 111J as judged by Adam Smith.

This female was also Supreme Champion Female at Barrie Fair, Beachburg Fair and Shawville Fair.

Charolais Win Kawartha Lakes 4-H
Tyler Burgomaster, Omemee, ON won Grand Champion Female with Sharodon Lynelle 116L by Sharodon Double Vision 1D at the Kawartha Lakes Haliburton Country 4-H Fair on August 23rd in Lindsay. 39 animals from three beef clubs in the country were judged by Ashley Baker of Madoc.
