McCaw Pandora 4E, sired by Grant’s Anchor 311A, exhibited by Wacy McCaw Livestock, Whitewood, SK and Diamond R Stock Farm, Wawota, SK was selected Grand Champion Female at Manitoba Ag-Ex BOSS Show, Brandon (MB) October 25th. Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 43 entry show, judged by Blaine & Shannon Brost, Irvine, AB was TWN Farmgirl 6F, sired by HRJ Deja Vu 654D from Sunblade Charolais, Foxwarren. Grand Champion Bull was Elder’s Honcho 72E, sired by Elder’s Blackjack 788B and exhibited by Elder Charolais, Coronach, SK. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was High Bluff Fleetwood 80F, sired by CJC Symbol B1067P from High Bluff Stock Farm, Inglis.

Mariah Mitchell, Armstrong, BC had the Reserve Grand Champion steer at the Okanagan Stock Show and Sale in Armstrong in July with a Charcross steer. Judged by Jim & Leona Wright of Chilliwack the steer weighed 1,350 lb and sold for $6.50/lb to Associated Ready Mix, Armstrong.

The Grand Champion Bull was Sharodon Double Vision 1D, sired by Cedardale Zeal 125Z, owned by Kay R Land and Cattle, Waskatenau, Elders Charolais, Coronach, SK, Sharodon Charolais, ON, Thomas Ranch and Polzin Cattle, SD. The Reserve Champion Bull was Elder’s Daunte 36D an Elder’s Blackjack 788B son, exhibited by Vikse Family Farm, Donalda.
