Janet Schmitt won Reserve Grand Champion steer honours at the Melfort Regional 4-H beef show and sale July 8, 2013. Judge Justin Morrison and apprentice judge Brittany Jordet used this charcross weighing 1300 pounds, which sold to Townside Enterprises and McDonald Metals for $4.25/lb.
HTA Prosperity 100X, sired by KCH Remington 41T, and her bull calf by RGP Remington 101Y, was selected Grand Champion Female of the Heart of Canada BOSS Show held at Harding, MB July 19th. Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 21 entry show was TWN Zelda 29Z sired by LAE Wichita 911W. Judge Sid Kent made JMB Dateline 206Z sired by BXB Dateline Son 65R Grand Champion Bull and HTA Challenge 161Y sired by HTA Senator 8130U Reserve Grand Champion Bull.
