Charolais breeders Don & Mindy Good, Acadia Ranching, Acadia Valley, AB are sponsoring the Youth Steer Show held in conjunction with the Beef Congress in Oyen. Called the Ashley Good Memorial it is in honour of their son who died in a car accident a number of years ago. Held on Feb. 15th 1st prize is $1,000 and 2nd prize is $750. Shawn Airey, Rivers was re-elected President of the Manitoba Charolais Association at their Annual General Meeting held January 4th in Brandon. Also remaining on the executive are Andre Steppler, Miami 1st Vice-President; Hans Myhre, Dauphin 2nd Vice-President and Rae Trimble-Olson, Portage la Prairie, Secretary-Treasurer.
