Michael Hogg, Diamond H Charolais, Roseneath, ON won Grand Champion Female honours at the Canadian Charolais Youth Association Show, July 24th in Dauphin, MB with DYV Paynes Wendy 6W (SVY Pilgrim Pld 655S).

Charolais steer Wins Calgary
A1394 lb. dark grey Charcross steer from Roger Hardy, Sooline Cattle Co. of Midale, SK, Tyler Bullick, Dutchess, AB and Wacey McCaw won the UFA Steer Classic at the Calgary Stampede.
Grand Champion Steer was exhibited by Katie Serhienko, Maymont. The silver steer sired by a club calf bull our of a Charolais cow weighed 1460 lb. and sold for $7.00 / lb. to Dairyland Agro and John Deere Farm & Garden Centre.
A Charolais heifer exhibited by Layne Cay of Kinistino, SK and of the Meskanaw-Ethelton 4-H Beef Club won Junior Champion Female at the Melfort Regional 4-H Show on July 4th.
Charolais Steer Wins Melita 4-H
Hayley Schuddemat from the Tilston (MB) 4-H Beef Club won the Melita Interclub Rally June 19th with a tan Charcross steer.
