Balamore Knockouot 127J, sired by HRJ Maverick 556C and her calf by Keys Powermax 57G, exhibited by Balamore Farms, Great Village was selected Grand Champion Female at the Classic Heritage Charolais (BOSS) Show, in Windsor, NS September 23rd. Judge Katie Songer, Sylvan Lake, AB then chose Balamore Valentina 247K, sired by LT Chrome 9159 Pld from Elizabeth Heighton, River John as her Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 26 entry show. Grand Champion Bull was Balamore Lionheart 341L, sired by Keys Powermax 57G from Balamore Farm. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was PCHF Kamakazy 8K, sird by HRJ Maverick 556K from Kingsmeadow Land & Cattle Ltd, Windsor. Complete results will be in the December Charolais Banner.

A Charolais steer from Matthew Howe, Moose Jaw was the champion steer of seven at the Claybank (SK) Bricks and Beef Junior Show, October 14th judged by Adriane Good, Regina.
Elise Howe, Moose Jaw won Champion Yearling Heifer over all breeds with HKS Billie Jean 10K, sired by Pleasantdawn Connection 195G. Judge Megan Roger, Moose Jaw then selected PCCX Kahula 2201K, sired by HRJ Maverick 556C, exhibited by Payton Caldwell, Weyburn as the Reserve Champion Yearling Heifer in this 14 head division.
In total there were just shy of 30 youth and 40 head of cattle in this inaugural show.
