Palmer Charolais, Bladworth, SK and Kent Barritt, Clive each purchased a high selling pen of Simmental cross heifers bred Charolais for $8,800.
KAYR Tremor 7015L was crowned the CN Beef Supreme Champion Bull on Saturday November 29th at Canadian Western Agribtion. The RBM Keystone H41 son was exhibited by Kay-R Land & Cattle Ltd, Waskatenau, AB and KFC Farms Ltd., Didsbury, AB. There was a total of 44 champions in the Supreme competition with 10 of those bulls being Charolais.
Six Mile Empress 813L, sired by LT Countdown 9712 Pld and her bull calf by LT Authority 7229 Pld, exhibited by Six Mile Ranch, Fir Mountain, SK was selected Grand Champion Female of the National Show at Regina (SK) Canadian Western Agribition, November 28th. Judges Trent & Garrett Liebreich, Radville then chose BRCHE MCC Rumplemintz 4501, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET from Southland Cattle Co. and Claire Cadieux as their Reserve Grand Champion of this 133 entry BOSS show. Grand Champion was KAYR Tremor 7015L, sired by RBM Keystone H41 from Kay-R Land & Cattle, Waskatenau, AB & KFC Farms Ltd., Abbottsford, BC. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was SVY Bold 505N, sired by WDZ Flatland 2044 from Serhienko Cattle Co., Maymont.
