Cornerview Charolais, Cobden, ON won Supreme Champion Pair of Bulls over all breeds at the Expo Boeuf Show in Victoriaville, QC on October 13th. Cornerview Memphis 34M & Cornerview Milwaukee 30M are both sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld.

Cowal Miller, Jarvis, ON won Supreme Champion Female over 43 entries with his heifer calf sired by Sparrows Trump Card 943G at the Caledonia Fair 4-H Show October 5th. Judge Adam Smith, Guelph also made Cowal’s 1,600 lb silver steer Grand Champion in the nine head class.

Reserve Grand Champion Female was Whitewater Lipstick 29L, sired by Whitewater Justify 14J from WhiteWater Livestock, Haley Station, ON as judged by Phil Hardy, Masonville. Grand Champion Bull was Cornerview Milwaukee 30M, sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld exhibited by Cornerview Charolais, Cobden, ON. Reserve Greand Champion Bull was Sharodon All Jacked Up 4M, sired by WIA Backwater Jack 060 P from Sharodon Farms, Omemee, ON.

Glenn Ching of Borderland Cattle Company, Rockglen, SK passed away October 3, 2024 at the age of 62 after a battle with brain cancer. Glenn is survived by his wife Wendy, son Wyatt and his wife Kendall and their son Weston.
A Celebration of Glenn’s life will be held Saturday, October 12th at 2:00 pm at the Rockglen Community Hall, Rockglen, SK.

Reserve Grand Champion Bull was Cedardale Maverick 97M, sired  by Cedardale Jaguar 111J from Cedardale Charolais, Nestleton.

CRG Miss Redeemed 4K, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET and her bull calf sired by CRG Outta Here 954G exhibited by McCord Farms, Carp was selected Grand Champion Female of the Renfrew, (ON) Charolais 28 entry (BOSS) Show, September 7th. Judge Craig Wilgenbusch, Halbrite, SK then selected CRG Princess 53H, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld with her TR Mr Diablo 2742Z ET bull calf at side from Oattes Charolais, Cobden.
Champion Bull  was Cornerview Memphis 34M sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld from Cornerview Charolais, Cobden. Cornerview also show the Reserve Grand Champion Bull Cornerview Milwaukee 30M sired by LT Justified 1528 Pld.

Patricia (Pat) Steppler passed away Sept. 18, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 71. She and Dan, her husband of 51 years started Steppler Farms, farming and raising Charolais cattle. With a teaching degree she taught for many years retiring in 2009 so she could focus more on her family and farm. A gracious lady, she always had a smile, time for a visit and an extra plate at her table.  She is survived by her four sons, their wives and 12 grandchildren. A private interment will be held on Monday, September 23rd at the Miami Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life with close family friends at 2 pm at the Miami Event Centre.
