DMC McCord Redeemed 4M, sired by CRG Outta Here 954G from McCord Cattle Co., Carp, ON won Grand Champion Bull of the 28 entry, Expo Boeuf (BOSS) Show in Victoriaville, QC on October 11th. Reserve Grand Champion was PHL Happy Gilmore 23M, sired by PCC Cobain 231K from Partridge Hollow Charolais, Consecon, ON. Grand Champion Female was CRG Miss 4N, sired by PCC Bourbon 118J from Oattes Cattle Co., Cobden, ON. Reserve Champion Female was Sunrise Melody 9M, sired by SVY Mayfield 30H, from Sharodon Charolais, Omemee, ON. The show was judged by Trent Liebreich, Radville, SK. DMC McCord Redeemed 4M then went on and won Supreme Champion Bull and CRG Miss 4N was selected as Reserve Supreme Champion Female overall breeds.

Cedarlea Wren 13E, sired by Circle Cee Legend 307A and her heifer calf by CML Tremor 31L from McLeod Livestock, Cochrane was selected Grand Champion Female of the Olds (AB) Fall Classic Charolais (BOSS) Show, October 5th. Judge Brent Stewart, Russell, MB then chose Six Mile Empress 813L sired by LT Countdown 9712 Pld and her bull calf by LT Authority 7229 Pld, Fir Mountain, SK as his Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 28 entry show. Grand Champion Bull was WGD Pearl Snaps 117M, sired by WGD Sir Duke 18J from Daines Cattle & O’Neill Livestock, Red Deer County. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was Daines Gilmour 537N, sired by LT Global 3322 Pld ET from Daines Cattle.

Matthew Howe, Moose Jaw, SK won Supreme Champion Female at the Junior Stockmans Show in Swift Current on September 27th with HKS MS Lois 43L, sired by Silverstream Geddes G102 and her HKS MS Lois 33N heifer calf by HKS JP 16J at side. The show was judged by Jeff Lees.

SOS Kardashian 798K, sired by BRCHE White Bear 8505 Pld ET  with her Pinnacle/SOS Miss North 798N by TR CAG Carbon Copy 7630 ET heifer calf at foot was selected as the Multi Breed Champion Female and Supreme Champion Female at the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE) August 30th in Armstrong, BC. Exhibited by Pinnacle View Livestock, Quesnel, BC & Springside Cattle Co., Airdrie, AB.

Farah Steacy, Landsdowne won Champion Heifer at the Ontario Charolais Association AGM Junior Show, August 16th, Cobden, ON with JKC Miss Firefly 85M a G.BROS Fernando 1309J daughter. Dallas Coughlin won Reserve Champion Heifer and Champion Bred & Owned with Cornerview Nakita 16N by RBM Keystone H41. Nate Latchford judged the show.

Kurtis Black, Haley Station was elected president of the Ontario Charolais Association at their Annual General Meeting, August 16th at Cornerview Charolais, Cobden. Eric Doran, Tweed was elected 1st Vice-President and Ryan Briggs, Oro-Medonte was elected 2nd Vice-President. Ashley Baker, Hastings continues in the Secretary/Treasurer duties.
