Miss Prairie Cove 204K ET, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET, with her Miss Prairie Cove 417M heifer calf at side from Prairie Cove Charolais, Bashaw was Supreme Champion Female at the 50th Anniversary of Farmfair International, November 9th in Edmonton. PCC Husk 218K from Prairie Cove Charolais and Jon-Ern Farms Blenheim, ON was also a top five finalist in the Supreme Bull Show.

Miss Prairie Cove 204K ET, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET and her heifer calf Miss Prairie Cove 417M, sired by WCR Bold Move 168 P was selected as Grand Champion Female of the National Show at Edmonton Farmfair International, November 8th. Judge Eric Boon, Lucky Lake, SK then chose EVF Lily 338L, sired by SVY Trust 6H from Harvie Ranching, Olds as the Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 113 entry BOSS show. Grand champion Bull was PCC Husk 218K ET, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET exhibited by Prairie Cove Charolais, Bashaw, Jon-Ern Farms, Blenheim, ON and Southland Angus & Charolais, Shaunavon, SK. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was SVY Verified 202K, sired by SVY Trust 6H, from Blanchette Ranch Ltd., Edam, SK.

Harvie Ranching, Olds Won the Divine Divas Champion Pair of Heifers at the start of the Charolais Show November 8th in Edmonton at Farmfair International. Judge Eric Boon, Lucky Lake, (SK), selected Harvie Ms Molson 19M, sired by SOS Jackpot Pld 158J and Harvie Brenda 35M, sired by HVA Three Thieves 66F. Reserve Champion Pair of Heifers was CML Desirae 405M and CML Desirae 407M, sired by CML Raindance 996G, from McLeod Livestock, Cochrane.

The Alberta Charolais Association Player’s Club show was held at the 50th Anniversary of Farmfair International in Edmonton (AB), Thursday November 7. Winning the $50,000 over 20 bulls as judged by over 60 additional members was Elder’s Mc Gregor 4140M, sired by LT Justified 1528 PLD, from Elder Charolais, Coronach, SK.

CRG Miss Shelby 94L, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld from Oattes Cattle, Cobden was Grand Champion Female at the Toronto (ON) Royal, November 1st. Judges Nat Grylls & Mark Piller, Neudorf, SK then chose DF Sauternes 044L, sired by DF MR Outrageous 64G from Derrer Farms, Milan, IL as their Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 63 entry BOSS Show. Grand Champion Bull was WJS Ring Master 34L, sired by Legacys Grandmaster 63G from Rollin Acres Charolais, Mulmur. Reserve Grand Bull was DF Significant 904L, sired by CCC WC Resource 417 P from Derrer Farms.

BAR SK Heather 304L, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld was selected Princess of the Prairies Champion Bred Heifer overall breeds, by a panel of judges at the Lloydminster Stockade Roundup October 30th in Lloydminster (SK).

The Lloydminster (SK) Stockade Charolais BOSS Show was held October 31st and judged by Chad Wilson, Wawota, SK. Grand Champion Female of this 38 entry BOSS Show was SOS Beryle Pld 811K, sired by BRCHE White Bear 8505 Pld ET and her calf sired by PCC Cobain 231K, exhibited by Sherwood Farms, Vermillion, Circle Cee Charolais, Lamont and Springside Cattle Corp, Airdrie. Reserve Champion Female was Justamere Priscilla 221M, sired by SVY Counter Point 222K, exhibited by Justamere Farms, Lloydminster. Bar SK Cattle Company, Lloydminster exhibited the Grand Champion Bull BAR SK Strikeout 310L, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld ET. Reserve Champion Bull was KAYR Tremor 7015L, sired by RBM Keystone H41, exhibited by Kay-R Charolais, Waskatenau.

Miss Prairie Cove 204K, sired by CCC WC Redemption 7143 Pld ET and her heifer calf by WCR Bold Move 168 P from Prairie Cove Charolais, Bashaw was selected Grand Champion Female of the Olds (AB) Fall Classic Charolais (BOSS) Show, October 5. Judges Vern & Riley Lafrentz, Bienfit, SK then chose Harvie MS Molson 19M, sired by SOS Jackpot Pld 158J, from Harvie Ranching, Olds as their Reserve Grand Champion Female of this 35 entry show. Grand Champion Bull was SVY Verified 202K, sired by SVY Trust 6H, from Blanchette Ranch Ltd., Edam, SK. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was RRMM Twister 26M, sired by RRMM Yellowstone 2J, from 7 Quarter Circle Charolais, Czar.

Declan Sargent, Mirror and his steer Willis won Reserve Champion Steer at the May 27th, 2024 Lacombe and District 4-H Show and Sale. Willis was also selected as the Reserve Champion Home Grown Steer and Reserve Champion Steer of the Nebraska 4-H Multi Club. Willis weighed 1515 lb and was purchased by Sterling Industries Inc., Blackfalds for $6.70/lb. The shows were judged by Scott Anderson, Sylvan Lake and Jay Good, Brooks.
